Internet Networks per Capita

In response to our recent post about the history of Internet network number assignments, Andy Davidson asked an interesting question via Twitter – what would this look like on a per capita basis?

This is certainly a much more dynamic picture. The relative chaos of the 1990s and early 2000s is clear to see, and it’s also interesting that viewed through this lens, the set of countries with the most network number allocations per capita has become more stable since around 2005. The British Virgin Islands has been the front-runner by this metric since around 2014.
