Assam State authorities ordered mobile Internet services to be suspended across all 35 districts on 27 October 2024, between 8:30 and 16:00 (local time) to avoid malpractice during government recruitment examinations. This follows similar orders for exams held on 15 and 29 September.

So funny that whole Assam's internet is regularly shut down on the Govt competitive exam days.
Instead, they can simply not allow mobile phones inside the exam hall.
The whole economy, public service, safety, digital transactions are unusable.

First Jharkhand and now Assam – Internet shutdown to conduct exams. They should find better ways like jammers in the exam centres. With complete internet shutdown there is lot of inconvenience to all the people particularly in emergency.
