Since 2020, Internet Society Pulse has been consolidating trusted third-party Internet measurement data to provide curated insights into the health, availability, and evolution of the Internet.

We’re now making most of this data available to all users via a public API. This will allow anyone to use the data we collect to examine Internet trends and tell their own data-driven stories.

How to use the API

The API is open to everyone though you do need to generate an API key by:

  1. Registering an account
  1. Clicking the profile icon in the top-right corner of the website to view your profile.
  1. Adding a label so you can identify the token (useful if you need multiple tokens) and click the button to generate an API key.

For more information and to see what data is available, refer to the API documentation.

Share Your Feedback

The API’s initial release makes available data about Enabling Technologies, Internet Resilience, and the Net Loss Calculator. We will add more datasets over the coming months.

Please help us improve the Pulse API and other products by sharing your feedback.
