Manipur Government Extends Internet Shutdown Till October 31

The Manipur government on Thursday (October 26) extended the internet shutdown in the state for another five days, until October 31. This is despite the fact that Chief Minister N. Biren Singh had said on October 18 that the Internet would be restored in the state within four or five days.
