The Czech operator Vodafone will introduce support for the IPv6 protocol in its network in the coming weeks and months. The deployment will take place gradually and should affect all customers using the Vodafone mobile network.
The competing operator O2 has been using IPv6 in its mobile network since 2020. The last one will probably be T-Mobile, which hasn’t even announced the preparation yet. According to Google statistics, approximately 45% of end users worldwide have access to IPv6, in the Czech Republic it is only 21.6%.
