Botswana’s government has announced plans to develop rules for Internet protocol version 6 (IPv6) as the country prepares to transition from Internet protocol version 4 (IPv4) to the next generation.
According to the Botswana Communications Regulatory Authority (BOCRA), the migration will propel the country to reap the full benefits of digitisation as it strives to become a high-income country with a knowledge-based economy, as outlined in its transformational agenda Vision 2036.
