Internet services have reportedly been suspended in Sambhal, Uttar Pradesh, since 24 November as part of wide-scale orders to reduce civil unrest in the region. These orders include suspending all schools and disallowing anyone from entering Sambhal.
Original reports state that the orders were only to last for 24 hours but as of 27 November, Internet services are still reportedly suspended.
No official cause document for the shutdown has been published, however authorities in the below video have reported that mobile Internet services have been suspended.
