Kazakhstan
The Internet is very widely adopted by the Kazakhstani population but Internet freedoms are heavily curtailed resulting in an Internet Freedom Status of ‘Not Free’. Our Internet Resilience score for Kazakhstan is close to the regional average. Diversity of transit and retail Internet service providers is relatively good. The adoption of IPv6 is poor and well below the regional average. The Top Level Domain, .kz, is secured but there is no adoption of DNSSEC by local content providers. DNSSEC validation and ROA validation for IPv6 show above average scores.
