Georgia
Internet is used by over three-quarters of the Georgian population and Freedom House reports an Internet Freedom Status of ‘Free’ which makes Georgia a regional bastion of online liberty. Our Internet Resilience score for Georgia is close to the regional average while the diversity of transit Internet providers is poor. There is only a single IXP operator and retail ISP diversity is relatively poor. The Top Level Domain, .ge, is not secured and routing and naming security measures are all below average.
