Burkina Faso has low scores across the board in our report for the landlocked West African country. Burkina Faso is one of the world’s least developed countries so these results are perhaps unsurprising. Around a quarter of the population have access to the Internet and our Internet Resilience score is aligned with the average for Africa. Diversity of Internet service provision is poor and the Top Level Domain, .bf, is not secured. Burkina Faso has above average scores for IPv6 adoption, use of DNSSEC validation and ROA validation for IPv6.
