Local impact
Internet services went down in Yemen as Saudi-led coalition forces backing the government in its fight against Houthi militia launched air strikes on a communication network in the Amran Governorate. Coalition forces have previously targeted communications facilities in the course of Yemen’s ongoing civil war.
The Ministry of Communications confirmed that the attacks affected Internet access in more than 15 districts in the governorates of Amran, Saada, Sana’a and Al-Jawd.
