Srinagar, Apr 6 (UNI) Two militants were killed by security forces in an encounter which ensued during a Cordon and Search Operation (CASO) in south Kashmir district of Shopian on Saturday, official sources said. Meanwhile, mobile internet service in Shopian has been suspended as a precautionary measure to prevent rumours. They said on a tip off about the presence of militants, troops of Rashtriya Rifles (RR), Special Operation Group (SOG) of Jammu and Kashmir police and CRPF launched a joint search operation at Pinjoora in Shopian. However, when the troops were sealing the area and moving towards a particular area in the village, militants hiding there opened fire.
