This regional shutdown coincided with larger national shutdown covering all of Iraq, both are part of series of shutdowns during the public school exams, which is expected to happen every Sunday and Wednesday. The original schedule was set to end on 29 June, however, there were no exams in the week of 15 June as the government paused exams due to Israel-Iran war.Iraq
