Access to mobile data was reportedly restricted amidst mass demonstrations in the capital Minsk triggered by the death of an anti-government activist. There is growing unrest in the country following the results of the national elections in August, which the opposition says were rigged.
Weekly protests held since the elections demand the resignation of longstanding leader Alexander Lukashenko, who has ruled the country for 26 years.
