National shutdown
Following an announcement by the Taliban authority in Afghanistan to cut off fibre connections, and failed negotiations between telecom operators and the government, regional fibre cuts started to get implemented to "prevent immoral activities". As of 29 September, this ban became a near-full blackout of the whole country.
