Les bombardements sur Gaza ont affecté les fournisseurs d'accès à Internet, notamment CoolNet et Fusion ISP, ainsi que le centre de données et le réseau de SMT le 12 mai, mais les réseaux ont réparti la charge sur d'autres fournisseurs d'accès à Internet pour que les utilisateurs restent connectés. Le 15 mai, de nouveaux bombardements ont entraîné la mise hors ligne totale de deux petits fournisseurs d'accès à Internet, CityNet et PALWIFI. Le service PALWIFI a repris le 18 mai, mais la coupure affectait toujours CityNet. Les services ont commencé à revenir à la normale et, le 25 mai, ils étaient revenus à plus de 80 % du niveau du mois dernier.
