À la suite du coup d'État militaire, le Myanmar a connu plusieurs pannes d'internet importantes. Le 1er février 2021, les données de l'IODA montrent que le Myanmar a connu une importante coupure de l'internet à partir de 3h30 du matin, heure locale. Il est à noter qu'il y a eu plusieurs différences dans la mesure où les fournisseurs d'accès à Internet ont été affectés par la panne et dans les schémas temporels, ce qui suggère l'absence d'un dispositif d'interruption de l'accès à Internet.

Amid the #coup in #Myanmar, there also appear to have been significant #Internet #outages. #IODA detected an initial drop in connectivity at ~21:00 UTC on Jan 31, followed by a larger drop at ~00:20 UTC on Feb 1.
