Los bombardeos en Gaza afectaron a los proveedores de servicios de Internet, entre ellos CoolNet y Fusion ISP, así como al centro de datos y la red de SMT el 12 de mayo, aunque las redes distribuyeron la carga a otros ISP para mantener a los usuarios conectados. El 15 de mayo nuevos bombardeos provocaron que dos ISP más pequeños quedaran totalmente fuera de línea, CityNet y PALWIFI. El servicio de PALWIFI se reanudó el 18 de mayo, pero el corte seguía afectando a CityNet. Los servicios empezaron a volver a la normalidad y el 25 de mayo habían vuelto con más del 80% al nivel del mes pasado.
