La Internet Society se complace en anunciar la cohorte 2024 de becarios de investigación Pulse: Jan Marius Evang, Yasir Haq, James Madeley y Mike Vandersanden.
Durante los próximos ocho meses, Jan Marius, Yasir, James y Mike trabajarán con el equipo de investigación Pulse de la Internet Society para desarrollar sus proyectos de investigación propuestos. La beca permite a las personas aportar nuevas perspectivas, ideas innovadoras y experiencia en investigación al proyecto Pulse para mejorar nuestra comprensión y análisis de la salud y evolución de Internet.

These themes include the challenge of balancing security with openness and resilience and the potential impact of increased control on digital liberties. | Measuring the Resilience of the DNS EcosystemYasir HaqThe project will explore the security and resilience of the DNS ecosystem. | Digital Vigilance: Identifying Network InterferenceMike VandersandenThe project contributes to identifying network interference by developing a holistic system. It aims to help automate the analysis of data sources by cross-correlating the results of diverse interference detection methods and supplying comprehensive insights that assist analysis processes. #Internet Shutdowns |
Gracias a todos los que presentaron su candidatura. Recibimos 157 solicitudes de 49 países, de las que 14 fueron seleccionadas para presentar una propuesta de proyecto detallada. Todos los proyectos preseleccionados eran de muy alta calidad y relevantes para los cuatro focos de Pulse que tratan de medir y dar sentido a los cierres de Internet, las tecnologías habilitadoras de Internet, la resiliencia de Internet y la concentración del mercado.
